Initial Appearance and Reactions
Papas Fritas has some inconsistency with the wrapper color but no soft spots and no major veins running through it. The unlit draw provides a decent leather flavor, and the regular draw on it is a tiny smoke bomb.
First Third
The first third of the cigar tastes of chocolate and leather with a smoothness on the retro-hale. Each puff produces a large amount of smoke.
Second Third
On the second third, the flavors become creamier than before. Despite the creaminess, there’s still a lot of leather flavor present. The ash held up well throughout the smoke, but I ashed when it got to about a half an inch.
Final Third
The final third of the cigar is full of chocolate flavor, and the smoke really packs a punch nicotine-wise. Inexpensive with no major issues, this cigar is all around great. It doesn’t consume a lot of time, though it did need to be touched up a few times during the smoke.
