Initial Reactions and Appearance

The wrapper for Dreams Of Cuba Habano Figurado is quite dark, a little toothy, and clear of any imperfections. Other than some basic tobacco flavor, there’s not a whole lot of taste on the dry inhale.

First Third

Dreams Of Cuba Habano Figurado is a little difficult to light at the start, but that’s pretty common with this shape of cigar. After getting it to light, the first third begins with leather on the front and a ton of pepper on the retrohale. The smoke itself is creamy, and as the first third continues, the pepper starts to die down. Some leather, chocolate, and nutty notes appear, and the draw and burn are super easy and even. Ultra-smooth, the dominant leather flavor continues to impress.

Second Third

A sweet woody flavor develops on the second third of Dreams Of Cuba Habano Figurado. The leather, chocolate, and nut flavors from before are still present, and the pepper starts to make a little bit of a comeback on the retrohale. One little touch up was needed during my smoke, but the ash held well.

Final Third

Spice, pepper, and wood dominate the final third. Still smooth and creamy, there’s a sweetness that’s present as the leather dies down. Not much change otherwise, but the spice continues to build. As Dreams Of Cuba Habano Figurado reaches its end, the spice builds and builds–a rocket of flavor–resulting in a delicious finale to a flavorful and complex smoke.

Would I Smoke Dreams Of Cuba Habano Figurado Again?

Yes. I was really impressed with this cigar. The flavors complemented one another, and they were all fairly complex. The spice rocket at the end of the smoke was awesome, and the nicotine was very light. Aside from needing a couple relights, this stick is free of issues. Dreams Of Cuba Habano Figurado is about as good as you’ll get for the price, so I would recommend it to anyone looking for a light, delicious, and complex smoke.
